An engineer (B. TECH & M.TECH) turned into a management professional (alumni of IIM-Kozhikode) spanning more than 12 years of rich experience in Oil & Gas, Mining, Heavy Engineering, and IT.

As Managing Director of Skybuffer India and Head of Development and delivery Center India, currently, Tamal is managing operations in the areas of R&D, Product Development, Pre-sales & Sales Support, and Services Delivery.
Tamal has experience in working on global assignments in corporate strategy, management consulting, program & engagement management, change management & systems integration.
Tamal started his career as a Management Trainee in the Project Planning division at Indian Mining before shifting to Capgemini where he spent around 5 years in Consulting, Project Management, Sales, Marketing, and Program Management positions. He joined Skybuffer and started Skybuffer India along with his other friends from Norway in 2018.
Tamal and his wife started another company Alphaxine in the year 2019 in Kolkata to fill the gap in the SAP consulting world.
Tamal is a performance-driven IT leader who led global delivery on various technology platforms spanning across SAP, Enterprise Applications, Cloud, and Software as a Service (SaaS).
He comes from years of hands-on SAP Record to Report, Order-to-cash, and Procure to Pay consulting background with deep exposure to SAP S/4 HANA & other new edges cloud-based SAP Solutions. Excellent exposure to large-scale digital transformation and IT projects.
Tamal loves to dig into business pain points and try to solve them through People, Processes & Technology. To accomplish this, he focused on achieving business outcomes by creating business value, picking the right technology solution to leverage, calculating the budget, defining the delivery roadmap, establishing an efficient project governance model, building & lead a multi-layered team, established a strong relationship with key stakeholders and establish a partnership with the vendor.
He has years of experience in managing end-to-end delivery of large SAP & Non-SAP business transformation programs, ITIL framework adopted SLA/KPI driven 24X7 IT global service operations across different time zones, and also managed many large Enterprise Application Portfolio.
Managed P&L of two companies which he has made with bootstrapped funding. Maintain strong relationships with customers, team members, partners,s and other key stakeholders.
Tamal has more than 12+ years of Delivery Management experience in both T&M and Fixed price engagements and growing them up in the value chain. He traveled a lot for many international clients and played all major client-facing roles during his career.

As an SAP Consultant, Tamal was responsible for project implementation, roll out and support in the field of SAP Project System and SAP Project Portfolio Management.
Worked actively under the DevOps process including Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management for SAP Record to report, Order to cash, Procure to Pay for a number of Clients including a Leading Oil & Gas Manufacturer Globally HQ in Stavanger, Norway. Tamal was mentoring young professionals in the Functional domain.

Tamal had a working experience of more than One year in the following projects:
Chhattisgarh Mineral Development Corporation – IFFCO Chhattisgarh Power Limited (Tara Central Coal Block). The job was for Preparation of Mine Plan, DPR, EIA/EMP report.
Pt. Bina Insan Sukses Mandiri (Indonesia). The job was for Production enhancement from 1 MTPA to 3 MTPA.
Tata Sponge Iron Limited (Radhikapur East Coal Block including Utkal – F). This includes Evaluation of Bid Document for selection of a MDO for the Coal Block allocated to TSIL.
His responsibilities as a Project Engineer was Providing Assistance in Mine exploration, Preparation of Detailed Project Report (DPR), Environment Impact Assessment (EIA) Report, Environmental Management Plan (EMP), Mine closure plan and Bid document. Identification of scope of outsourcing. Evaluation of Bid document and selection of Mine developer and operator (MDO) and also Washery Developer and Operator.
The responsibilities mentioned above are all in respect of Project Management which deals with Management Information System (MIS), Budgeting, Controlling, Reporting etc.
Also, he was responsible for updating our Website, creating new corporate email ids for their employees by coordinating with HR and Internal IT team.
